Marine species threatened by deep-sea mining

Science Dailyreports thatUnderwater mining poses a great danger to animals inhabiting the seafloors. A new research study describes the most abundant species, a sponge,  ler which can now be used to regulate mining operations and help us better understand their environmental impacts.
