Scholarship Opportunity

The Canon Collins Trust is soliciting applications for the Kader Asmal Fellowship, an award for funding a one year MSc program at an Irish university.  Details can be found at https://www.canoncollins.org.uk/apply/scholarship/kader-asmal-fellowship and scholarships@canoncollins.org.uk.

In 2021/2022 there are 15 scholarships available for Masters degrees in several subject areas including Engineering, Hydrology, Sustainable Technology, ICT, Economics, Finance, Environmental Science, Conservation, Politics, Pharmacy and Biotechnology and more. These are all fully-funded one year Masters programmes at several universities in Ireland and women interested in STEM subjects are the main priority group this year. The deadline for applying is 31st August.  Current undergraduate students are unfortunately not eligible, but anyone with a good first degree and a South African passport/ID may.
