50th Anniversary of Komatiite Tour
Evening Lecture Series – Mpumalanga
2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the discovery and first account of komatiite. To celebrate the discovery of this unique rock, a series of evening lectures will be open to the public in late September, presented by experts on the geology and geoheritage of Barberton. These lectures form the evening itinerary of the 50th Anniversary of Komatiite Field Trip, taking place in Mpumalanga 26-29 September 2019.
